Heard today on "Cops":
Police officer: "Sir, this is NOT your cat. You have to stop harassing those people."
Complete Idiot:"Is too my cat."
Police Officer: "How do you know it's your cat?"
Complete Idiot: "He meowed at me through the window."
Police Officer: "Uh huh."
Complete Idiot: "That's my cat! Here's his picture."
Police Officer: "Sir, the cat in this picture doesn't look like that cat. Its face is darker."
Complete Idiot: "Oh yeah? Well, how long have they had that cat? Coulda changed."
Police Officer: "Uh huh.... Sir, didn't you say your cat is a male?"
Complete Idiot: "Those folks what I got him from said he was a neuter."
Police Officer: "But before that... he was male?"
Complete Idiot: "He was a man cat, yes. "
Police Officer: "Sir, that other cat is a female. "
*silence*
Complete Idiot: "How long did they say they had that cat?"
Police Officer: "Not long enough to get it a sex change."
Complete Idiot: "But that's my cat!"
Police Officer: "Sir, it's not your cat. Go back to your trailer and leave folks alone."
I think he could have completely skipped the words "to your trailer" and we would have filled it in.
Posted by LeeAnn at June 10, 2005 03:59 PMLMAO. I love COPS just to watch the idiots. Especially the toothless angry ones.
Posted by: caltechgirl at June 10, 2005 04:22 PMYou just got your quota of "good karma" for at least one month, if not a full quarter (aka three months).
You made me laugh out loud, which ain't easy for a morose, determinedly dark personality type like me...
:-)
Posted by: Jack at June 10, 2005 04:24 PMGood lawd. I just saw that episode last night. I can't help it. There's just SOMEthing about watching morons in action...
Posted by: Pammy at June 10, 2005 05:57 PMMan, it'd be cool to have Obi Wan Kenobi on those shows.
"These are not the felines you are looking for."
Posted by: zonker at June 11, 2005 10:33 AMIt just totally scares me that there are people in this world that are SO clueless!! I'm glad there are, though...who ELSE would we make fun of?
Posted by: Tonya at June 14, 2005 01:23 PMOutstanding ....now I have Irish Coffee in places it was never intended to go *grin*. And you are right, at the end, "Go back to your trailer" is rather redundant. I wonder how many times this event was the topic of discussion back at the station.
Posted by: Guy S at June 14, 2005 02:14 PMI (heart) Cops. I've seen that epi a few times.
No matter what's going on in my life, this show helps me realize I ain't got it THAT bad. :)
