I've seen this going roundy round the blogs, and Zonker of Thunder and Roses tagged me to put in my two notes worth of musicality. Then I get to tag five others, down around question 5, to play with me.
Or you can just go ahead and play with yourselves... far be it from me to restrict your personal quality time.

About 170 MB... yes, kind of smallish, but I have my stereo sitting right next to me on the desk, so I don't really use the computer for music very much.

5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to (five persons and why)?
Bob, because he's a damn fine musician in his own right.
Scooterdeb, because I bet she is a wonderful menace to society despite what the tests say.
Jeff, because he seems to attract the musical types.
Janet, because she can turn a musical pun like a pro.
Joanie, because music hath charms to soothe the savage breast (and backs).
Great list! I'll have to look for MORE stuff on ITunes now!

Random 10 Songs in My Playlist:
(see above)
1.) What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
1.58 GB - though I think most of that is Tony Robbins telling me it's my fault I don't have the cash flow he has.
2. The last CD you bought is:
blank
3. What is the song you last listened to before this message?
The Theme From "Bewitched". Seriously. And now i can't get it out of my head... do you know how it goes? I can send you a midi file. Catchy little number, try humming it. :)

I Want You To Want Me - Cheap Trick
Baby It's You - Beatles
I'm Just A Girl - No Doubt
Angel - Sarah McLachlan
Love Shack - B-52's
5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to (five persons and why)?
The next 5 people to comment on any of your posts, cause I Ain't Got No Journal.
what a fun game!
1) Not sure how much is on the computer. It wasn't originally mine and came with a bunch of stuff...and, while I'm not sure where I'd find the files (I know they're on here somewhere) I do know that Leif Garrett's "I Was Made For Dancing" is among the selections.
2) "A New Day Yesterday" by Joe Bonamassa - found it on sale at Borders and HAD to buy it since my last copy was stolen. I've since given it to a traffic guy at the Las Vegas airport. He kissed me...I felt obligated. Don't ask.
3) "Had to Cry Today" by Bonamassa...it was the last song of the set and they played the hell out of it. Best version of it that I've heard.
4) "Mountain Time" Bonamassa
"Love Shack" B-52's
"Perhaps Love" John Denver (shh...it's MY list!)
"Lonesome Me" Kentucky Headhunters
"Lucille" as performed by Country Dick Montana (sentimental fool that I am)
5) I have to think about this one...and send it out when I get home instead of trying to think up who I can tag while slightly doped up on Vicodin and Bud Lite in Vegas.
Posted by: da goddess at January 28, 2005 12:46 AMI am ever so afraid to admit my obvious suckage when it comes to music....

Random 10 Songs in My Playlist:
1. Poe - Hey Pretty
2. Paula Cole - You Make Me Feel Love
3. Nikka Costa - Like A Feather
4. Johnny Cash - Delia's Gone
5. Jeff Buckley - Last Goodbye
6. Radiohead - Creep
7. Prince - If I Was Your Girlfriend
8. Aimee Mann - Save Me
9. Stone Temple Pilots - Sour Girl
10. Ghetto Boys - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta
1.) What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
About 600 MB.
2. The last CD you bought is:
"My Baby Don't Tolerate" by Lyle Lovett
3. What is the song you last listened to before this message?
"Trying To Get That Feeling Again" by Barry Manilow. It was on in my Mom's house. I swear. She has it on that Mom-Sings-Along-With-Every-Song-Regardless-Of-Its-Musical-Value channel on her kitchen radio. My right hand to God.
4. Five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.
A. "Asshole" by Denis Leary. A-S-S, H-O, L-E, Everybody...
B. "If I Had A Boat" by Lyle Lovett. It's a perfect song. Witty... illustrative.. wonderfully melodic. And just weird. Whenever I start to think I could write a decent song, I listen this this and put the pen down.
C. "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys. I think of my wife when Carl Wilson sings, "If you should ever leave me/Then life would still go on, believe me/But the world would show nothing to me/So what good would living do me?/'Cause God only knows what I'd be without you."
D. "Drunken Angel" by Lucinda Williams. written about Townes Van Zandt in the wake of his alcohol-related death, Williams is angry and bitter about the waste of a truly original American talent. I listen to this when I'm angry and bitter.
E. "Home" by Sheryl Crow. Okay, so I'm drawn to haunting songs of disillusionment the way Scott Baio is drawn to "Baywatch" bimbos. So sue me.
5. Who are you gonna pass this stick to (five persons and why)?
See my site and see.
Great tunes... 'specially the Schoolhouse Rock and Bloodhound Gang selections! :)
