Neither rain nor snow nor gloom of computer bugger-ups can slow the Cheesemistress from her appointed damn near obsessive-compulsive template changes. Although I have to admit, what with technical difficulties, it took me over 4 hours. Now, that's true lunatic behavior dedication.
And in a related item, the ISP has admitted maybe there's a problem and are sending a guy out to "look at it". From the tone of their voice, they think I've driven a railroad spike through the cable somewhere.
Huh. Shows what they know.... it was a fondue fork.
Well, at least I sort of *like* this template ....
Posted by: Scorpio at May 3, 2004 05:55 AMI love the new look! Very nice.
Hope they fix the ISP problem. My computer issues directly relate to the fact that my computer was dug up at an archeological site and that's why I got such a good deal on it. :)
Posted by: Tammi at May 3, 2004 07:32 AMthis one is pretty good.. I think the text needs to be either drop shadowed or embeveled.
Posted by: pylorns at May 3, 2004 08:32 AMWow! Perfecto - requires no changes at all. I'm a lil jealous here.
Posted by: Bob at May 3, 2004 10:30 AMHoo-ya. Daisies and a Deadwood quote, what's not to love here? I like the background color too. I like it all.
Are we like, the only two people who blog who like Deadwood this much? That's not right.
Posted by: topdawg at May 3, 2004 12:35 PMPylorns- You're right, but it was too far into the tear-my-hair-out process to go backwards and diddle about with the text. I would have had to unplant all the daisies because I can never remember to save at each layer level. Ah well, there's always next time.
Bob- You know how to turn my head. :)
Tammi- Thank you!!
topdawg- I love that damn show! It's kind of become obsessiony. Did you follow Carnivale too?
My mom, btw, is still upset that the Oz season is over. Poor thing.
Scorpio- only *like* huh? :)
Posted by: LeeAnn aka Cheesemistress at May 3, 2004 02:15 PMI'm loving it - very 'Springy'. Seeing as I can live Spring vicariously through you an' all... :)
Posted by: goldie at May 4, 2004 06:49 AMLeeAnn -- I am obsession-y as HELL about Deadwood. Absolutely. I've taken to calling the local supermarket clerks "those Bella Union cork soakers" now in my head while I wait in line. And I'm thinking that one Deadwood post per day isn't really an unreasonable goal. In Sunday's episode, could you believe those two precious cherubs showing up in town looking for "daddy"?
Posted by: topdawg at May 4, 2004 10:05 AMLeeAnn - I see you become as tired with the look of your blog as I do. The every-so-often changes certainly liven things up -- I like this most recent interation of yours :-)
