"Absorbed" Is Just Another Word For "Sucked In"

I could blame the summer doldrums. I could blame my boring neighborhood. I could blame too much curiousity plus much spare time plus a really good garbage disposal equals finger minusing.
All these and possibly more I could blame for lack of bloggery here.
The real reason is the GM1 has given my near-OCD (I just can't commit) a new focus.
I've been playing World of Warcraft, and it feels goooooooooood.
In these moments that the GM1 gets home from work and pulls me kicking and screaming away from his computer, which is the one with WoW on it, so that he can run around killing beasties and gathering loot, oh the joy, the joy, the wet-seat warmth of the loinage of gathering loot and XP.....*swoon* I am not occupied with completely neglecting my housework, emails, phone calls, and personal hygiene the game, I will of course tend to The Cheese, which is right and proper and as it should be.
Plus, as I discovered earlier today, people pretending to be trolls will talk to anyone about ANYTHING.
I blogs what I gots, y'all.

One of my friends is obsessed with World of Warcraft as well. I hear it's addicting.

What server?

Inquiring minds want to know.

(I don't play - no time and no spare cash - but a lot of my old gaming buddies are on Garona.)

This reminds me, did you see that new show called Intervention? They had a guy on who played video games the whole day straight sometimes.

Just don't let it cut into your blogging time!

What race of character do you play? Why? Are you in a guild? This is all just idle (my only kind) curiosity. I'm not going to get sucked in too. I'm strong. I can resist. At least for a few more days.
