Harvey said once, in a fit of commenting madness, that "This place needs more LeeAnn pics." I imagine he means pics of me, but being the stubbornly obtuse cheesemistress that I am, I choose to believe he means pics belonging to me.
And with that, I give you a picture of a minor miracle....
My daughter, Kelly.

She's not only gorgeous, she has the gift of phrase-turnage.
This is her dog, Endo Beaner Bagby, of whom she says:
"He has little bumps all over him and his breath smells like a bucket of sea shells that has been left in the hot car after a day on the beach. "

I guess technically, he's my granddog. I can see how he takes after my side of the family. The little bumps part, I mean. And the glazed look. That's vintage Cheesemistress.

grandogs are good. they don't require so much work from you.

and you know, Kelly is a lot like her mommy. Beautiful!

Will you adopt me?

OMG - that totally freaked me out! I saw the pic before I read the text and thought that was you - I was gonna tell you "cute glasses!" until I got around to reading.

She looks quite an interesting sort.

Posted by: HR Lady at May 4, 2004 08:33 AM

That IS a great turn of phrase. I wish I could describe my own dog's breath in such poetically charming terms, but I'd be lying.

[mentally adding 20 years to the pic]

Yup, LeeAnn is HOT!

Now quit teasing & serve up a little Cheese cheesecake, please :-)

Posted by: Harvey at May 4, 2004 03:35 PM

I was freaked too - I was thinking - she *sure* looks different with her glasses - then I saw it wasnt you. Harvey - if you add 20 years yer making a huge mistake. They look the same age - the features are a bit different is all. Both of them are ladies not given to cheesecakage.

Yeah that's a glazed lookin dawg if I ever did see one. Poor thing. I'll light a candle for him and stuff.

Posted by: Bob at May 4, 2004 05:53 PM

BTW, Kelly is nearly as pretty as you.

Posted by: Bob at May 4, 2004 05:55 PM

I'm gonna be honest with ya... You're granddog scares me.

Posted by: xade at May 4, 2004 05:57 PM

And can somebody please slap me with the grammar stick? thank you.

Posted by: xade at May 4, 2004 05:57 PM

wow.. she's a babe.. lumps and all.. oh, wait.. dangit.... I KNEW I'd screw up this comment....

Posted by: Eric at May 4, 2004 06:04 PM

xade- I honestly think the granddog is possessed.
Maybe by a sponge, or a shiny bit of tinfoil, but he's possessed for sure.

Eric- the lumps are inheirited. By/from either/or. :)

You're a medical miracle, what with having given birth at age five and all.

Each time I was going to post yesterday, something came up and I had to close it - thinking I'd get back to it later - well later is finally here. *G*

Cute daughter - and I see Bob is telling us that you look about the same age - wonderful. LOL.

As for doggie with the scary stare... my dog could've given her breath a run for it's money during her last few years. She was able to stand at one end of the room, pant, and completely smell up the room in about 3 breaths. Quite an amazing thing.

Posted by: Teresa at May 5, 2004 06:07 AM

Teresa,

Ya shoulda taught her to pant from the front end.

Posted by: Bob at May 5, 2004 09:56 AM

I agree with harvey (Somewhere up there). and if its mother like daughter Owwwwwww thats hot.

But i have to say that is a rather scary dawg.

Posted by: Jeremy at May 5, 2004 11:50 AM

Gads, what a loverly daughter you have.

And, Jim said it first, but I didn't know you could have children whilst still being a toddler yourself.

(I'm saying my children were the greatest thing since Jesus -- sorta. You know. Virgin birth. At age 10. Mwheh.)

Posted by: Emma at May 7, 2004 02:17 AM

allow me to degrade it. You're daughter is hot.
