I've Been A Good Girl, Really

So, now is the part where I ask you all your opinion on something:

What do you think about wish lists? Good? Bad? Ridiculously hopeful? Greedy?
Or just an amusing exercise in online window shopping when you set it up?
Because you know me. I'll trot out all the embarassing photos of me as a baby, but I want full and up to the minute input if I'm going to make a real idjit of myself.
Let me know, okay?

You don't mean a beggar's button, do you?

Why is it people only put Amazon and Paypal on their sites? I want Babeland and/or Good Vibrations. If someone finds out they're set up for wish lists, let me know. I want all my readers to give me an orgasm. And if they can't do it directly, Fed Ex is the next best thing.

Because I positively have to have one overnight.

I could send you one. It looks just like fresh homemade lasagna with extra cheese, but trust me, it's an orgasm.
You just have to wash the sheets right after, so they don't stain.

When I started blogging, I put up the wish list and pay pal button because I saw everyone else had done it, (except Anna, of course) and just figured that was the thing to do. I certainly never expected anyone to drop a coin in the pay pal nor buy me a thing off my wish list.

But they have.

And it feels good and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

It's the reader saying, "I enjoy reading what you have to say, I see you are interested in this or that and I would like to get it for you."

I have never begged, (except in jest), for any money. To me that is just in poor taste. I guess I view a post asking for money the same way some people view having the Pay Pal button on your site in the first place.

Pay Pal button...I can see how it's viewed as begging.

Wish List button...naw. That's not begging. Let someone get ya something if they want. It's amazing how well complete strangers will treat you.

I have bought a couple of bloggers things on their wish lists - one when she was feeling down, and another when she reached a life milestone.
The circumstances have to be just right for me to do it, but I kinda like the option.

I have a wish list that's been up for ages...it's buried in my links. I also have my Amazon wish list. I don't actively promote either one.

I've had Tiramisu disguised as an orgasm once. Enjoyed multiples even.

And the last time I hosed Lasagna from my sheets, I was urged to see an internist.

You send it over, I guarantee I'll tip my cervix to the chef.
